Congratulations to S.A. Hughes soon
to be famous author whose book Vengeful Nature, a first in a three part series, is to be published and to be
launched in February 2006. Check this web site out for the latest on news and up coming events she is promoting.
Born
in Mt. Holly N.J., S.A. Hughes currently resides in Waldorf M.D. with her husband Carl and three children.
Mrs. Hughes
started writing her first novel two years ago and now has three works currently in production.
In this web site we
explore features on the first book in a three part series called Vengeful Nature, Girlfriend Glitter, and Accepting Fate.
It's the story of three friends who learn life is not all that glitters and breaks up that long time friendship in the search
of a greater walk through life.
This book captures the heart warming story of three women and the men who love them.
There is Marilyn whose husband has
left her for another man. Melinda whose tragic life includes a violent sister she never knew anything about and is out to
get her all costs. Lastly there is Melanie whose vivacious nature and wild ways get her in trouble with her white husband,
the only man she has ever known to stick by her even though she has four kids with all different daddies.
The highs
and lows in this story will keep you on your toes and wonder, in the end, exactly what life is all about!
Characters for Vengeful Nature....
Sara:
Dangerous psychopath with dominatrix tendencies tossed away at birth by parents
who loved her yet were too young to care for her. Raised in an orphanage, she was constantly abused and has grown up knowing
of the family who left her behind. Sara’s main objective to life is to take over Melinda’s.
Melinda:
Neurotic, eager to please, self absorbed, plain Jane not sure what to do with
the life she has been dealt. Wanting love, family, and money in that order she finds herself at odds with her two best friends
and in need of a life make over.
Marilyn:
Bossy, over bearing, know it all woman who has forced her husband out of the
proverbial closet and into the arms of another man. With three boys to raise, her ideal family life come crashing down around
her at a time when the friendship she thought would last forever with the women she grew up with. Suddenly she finds herself
alone, desperate, and on the verge of a nervous break down.
Melanie:
Ghetto personified free spirited woman. Free with her body as evidenced by
all the children she has with all different fathers suddenly finds herself in love for the first time. She collapses fully
when she finds out that she is pregnant again and now not so sure how to deal with it all and runs away. A definite nervous
break down that can only be cured by the love of the white man she has married.

The target audience is for the African American community male
or female who enjoys reading about the suffering we continuously live through.
It’s not enough that on a daily basis that women must deal
with work, children, husbands, and families; but they must deal with being women also. This book touches on the understanding
that this is a book that they can relate to, on a deeper level, with useful information told to them in often comedic ways.
But with the hope that things do get better and there is a world of love out there waiting for them.
My male audience will be refreshed to know that although there
are some common male issues dealt with in this book, but that nothing is to great to overcome and that the “good guy”
often does win.
My gay and lesbian audience will be thrilled that I have addressed
certain aspects that they deal with on a daily basis also. In the style of famed writer E. Lynn Harris, I have brought into
play the often sneaking and low down men they have to get used to too in order to find good men of their own.
I believe this one book series will change the lives of all who
read it and let people out there know that they are not alone!
